Mechanical service

  • Old factory grease removed and replaced with proper Dual-spec lubrication
  • New steuerpimpel installed
  • Anti-skate cam restored to smooth operation
  • Multiplay rubber grommet and bearings replaced
  • Motor oiled
  • Steady speed verified at 33, 45, and 78 rpm
  • Idler wheel and motor pulley cleaned
  • Calibration of automatic functions

Electrical & signal path

  • Headshell and sled contacts cleaned for reliable signal transfer
  • RCA outputs cleaned and serviced under chassis
  • Custom low-capacitance RCA interconnects installed using high-quality connectors

Tonearm & playback setup

  • Tonearm balanced and calibrated for correct tracking force and anti-skate
  • Cartridge aligned using Dual-specific alignment gauge

Cosmetic Condition

  • Chassis cleaned and detailed
  • Plinth cleaned and refreshed
  • Dust cover polished

Cosmetic condition is approximately 8/10 with normal age-related wear consistent with a well-preserved vintage unit. The platter’s center protective film is still present and visible in photos.

Functional Notes

This unit is fully functional and ready for plug-and-play use. Automatic functions operate smoothly and have been thoroughly tested. All functions have been tested across full cycle multiple times.

One known issue: the multi-play selector knob is broken off. See photos, the break is clean and does not affect aesthetics. The table operates perfectly in single-play mode. Common multi-play wear points (grommet and bearings) have been addressed during service.
